Art

Art and painting is one of my favorite pastimes. Some of my art on the website is intended to express what a person with epilepsy sees and experiences during a seizure. In my case, I often see random objects, words and colors. I use mixed media in my paintings to convey what to me is a visual tornado in my brain. My hope is that through art others will be pulled in, and conversations will open up. It’s another way to bring greater understanding of what the experience is of someone with epilepsy. But whatever I am feeling, if I can express it in my paintings, I am pleased.
